VISAS AND INSURANCE:

It is your responsibility as a traveller to ensure, before you travel that you have your passports and any visas that might be necessary for the different countries.

Please ensure that you have all the necessary visas prior to departure (unless available on entry) as this can result in delays and possible curtailment of your safari. Visa requirements can change from country to country so please double-check this information with your nearest embassy/consulate before departure.

Insurance: It is compulsory that all guests travelling on safari must have a fully comprehensive insurance cover including full medical emergency air evacuation, repatriation, loss or theft of luggage, money, goods and cancellation of safari. Please ensure that you have yourself and your belongings adequately insured before your departure, the cost of this insurance is relatively cheap compared to the price of your safari and your equipment. The agents, associates and tour operators that I work with cannot be held responsible or liable for loss, damage, or theft of personal luggage and belongings, nor can they be held liable for personal injury, accident or illness.

Before you confirm your booking please make sure your insurance covers you in the event of you having to cancel or curtail your safari due to unforeseen circumstances as the respective tour operators that I work with cannot make any refunds within a certain period.

It is advisable to take out baggage and money insurance, especially if you are carrying large amounts of cash or expensive and valuable camera equipment. (We highly recommend that you should always carry such equipment as "carry-on" luggage on scheduled flights).

If you anticipate having to make an insurance claim upon your return home, be sure to document as accurately as possible any accident, injury or loss and material such as photographs, doctor’s notes and police reports will aid your claim.
